When college students feel backed into a corner with no solution on how to come back to center- to gain their sense of balance and productivity, counseling and therapy are go-tos for students to feel capable and ready to take action. Every college campus has resources for helping students - from tele-health to student counseling and wellness. Local campus communities offer a variety of support services, as well. Coaching, in the last couple of years has become a leading option for students who are struggling emotionally, academically, mentally, and personally -wellbeing (ly) for many reasons. Coaching is more than an effective supportive, helping process. Coaching is a relationship; a second set of eyes with a new perspective and guidance; a hand to hold when lost; an added feature to a students misaligned strengths; a method of establishing a working plan of action that gets the student from a struggling state to a functioning state - and keeps him or her there!
