It is common to experience self-doubt the summer leading up to freshman year. And, if you had a particularly rough year last year, you, too,may be having thoughts around going back to college.
How can you guarantee you will have a decent, maybe even awesome semester?
Make sure you give attention to every area of student life - wellness, social, academics, physical, spiritual, mental, extra curricula, hobbies, fun, passions- daily. If you find yourself spending too much mental and emotional energy in one or two areas, roll back. Give some of that time and energy to an area that also needs attention.
Decide how you will effectively manage stress. Decide the efforts you will make socially and academically. Know when to rest and when to exert.
