This summer - before- freshman year mini crash course will enlighten new college students on six main skills and areas of challenge. After taking this approximate 6-8 hour self-paced prep course, students will know how to execute daily tasks and demands, how to manage time, how to organize daily and weekly study schedules, how to manage overwhelm, how to manage distractions, how to self-guide campus resources and professor communications, how to navigate social connections, how to manage difficult emotions, how to negotiate roommate situations, how to study with success, how to create and sustain academic and wellness habits, and how to investigate needs for college success. This course includes 1 one-hour coaching session to get started and to debrief. Students who struggle with ADHD will want to add on two more individual coaching sessions to create strategies and systems that will sustain habits for academic and personal success.
"I really wanted to overcome some stress and anxiety that onset during my senior year of high school. Working with Lori my summer before college made my transition SO much smoother. I used the Get College Ready summer prep course, which helped me transition to my freshman year with time management and exam prep skills that most of my peers didn't. I felt so ahead! Thank you, Lori."

"My son struggled in high school, so my wife and I were a bit nervous the summer before his freshman year at JMU. Luckily, we found Lori and invested in the Get College Ready course, which really helped our son feel better equipped to manage his ADHD and anxiety before even starting classes. We really recommend investing in this course for your college-bound student!"
