Hi. I'm Lori. I am a personal life and wellness coach for college students, specializing in stress and anxiety. In my sixth year of virtually partnering with students all over the country, I am honored to invest in your mental health with you. I have worked with students in some capacity for most of my adult life and being a personal stress management coach for college students is by far, my most favorite work. Why? Because I was you and I now get to give you the guidance and support I wish I had.
College was overwhelming for me. As I look back, I know now that I was not emotionally prepared for the four-year experience. I was socially unprepared, academically challenged to some degree, and at times mentally struggled. Fortunately, I figured out how to navigate the college experience and grew tremendously. I now get to use that experience to help you.
Stress is inevitable in this life. You cannot NOT have stress. College life will be one of the most stressful experiences of your life as it is (probably) your first major life transition. With change comes stress, discomfort, fear, and all the feelings that don't feel good.
As you craft the skill to manage stress, you will thrive not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and mentally. You will get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. You will learn to focus in chaos, neutralize anxiety, and overcome fears and insecurities. If you can not do this alone, you may need to work with a personal stress coach to help you healthily maneuver chaos and sort out emotions that accompany your experience.
