The College Transition Course
Do you want to go to college feeling confident, organized, and prepared- capable of managing every challenge of freshman year?
This coaching and foundational course will provide you with the hands-on skills necessary to self-manage every area of your college and personal life. You will gain strong self-awareness (metacognition) before you even arrive on campus so you know how to "check the facts" on how you are doing in each area of your life, every day as a college freshman.
This course is for you if you want to:
Feel confident going to college, able to manage all challenges and struggles.
Be mentally and emotionally prepared for difficult days.
Feel socially confident and able to communicate effectively with professors.
Make good decisions leading with your values.
Balance school life and wellness habits (sleep, body movement, nutrition).
Set up a successful self-management system that includes daily success habits like:
! creating your most effective time-management system
!! moving through procrastination and jump starting motivation
!!! scheduling and prioritizing assignments
!!!! implementing a flexible planning system
!!!!! securing effective study habits like not-taking, study methods, and study schedules
Or if you want to:
~ balance demands, pressures, and expectations of your busy college life.
~ deal with uncomfortable emotions like anxiety, overwhelm, and frustration.
~ maintain a healthy self-esteem when feeling defeated.
~ manage disruptions and set personal boundaries (device management).

No one ever has ever told me some of these things. Like, who knew that you would most likely have to schedule ever hour of time in college so that you can have fun and study. I think it's called (time) blocking?

I was overthinking and worrying about stupid stuff before taking Lori's course. This class helped me see the bigger picture of how to treat college. I guess I have to get serious.
